He has an enviable pedigree having worked for 'blue-chip' international corporations as well as some high profile smaller companies. His formative years were spent in a number of financial roles such as Cost Accountant, Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, eventually aspiring to the role of Finance Director having qualified as an F.C.M.A. No sooner had he qualified he was fast-tracked into manufacturing initially as Materials Control Manager and then finally as UK Manufacturing Manager where he was responsible for four sites and 230 personnel. In this role he introduced a substantial and innovative reorganisation of the shop floor from production line to cell production and effectively added Quality Circles and T.Q.M. During this time he attended an executive M.B.A at Cranfield in which he majored in marketing. His career then developed as a Divisional Commercial Director where he had Board responsibility for the profitable growth of a £60m group of twelve diverse companies internationally spread. A similar role was followed in another sector including some MD'ships.
During the last twenty years Bilotta has been intensively involved in the profitable growth of the enterprises he has worked for. Inevitably some companies were faring better than others and his attention was given to the ailing ones which required close hands on work in order for them to recover. He was so successful at this that at one stage he was helping to run three delinquent customers who owed his Corporation significant sums of money. His experience also covers acquisitions and disposals of SME's. In recent years he is noted for the highly visible corporate recovery of a reputable Sports Equipment manufacturer that had accumulated nearly £1.5m of losses and in the year before he got involved had recorded a massive £600k loss. Head-hunted on behalf of the new American owner Bilotta swiftly set about sorting out every department. Within two years and after many positive changes the company delivered its first profits and has done so every year for the last eight. By year three the company was nominated for three business awards eventually taking the much coveted Business of the Year. Major transformations continued within the company and at the point it was sold it was the recognised global market leader in its field. After successfully integrating his company with the new owners he decided to use his company doctor skills for the benefit of SME's and has since worked with numerous satisfied clients.
